Children and pets should be kept out of treated areas until the application dries. Under normal conditions that should be 30 minutes or less. We always knock on the door when we arrive to advise you of our presence and you will see a posting sign in your front yard, if absent, when you return home.
MosquitoXpress utilizes products from a family of pesticides known as pyrethroids as our primary barrier control agents. Pyrethroids are a synthetic form of pyrethrins which are derived from an extract of the chrysanthemum. Products that you may be familiar with that contain pyrethroids as control agents include flea collars and pet shampoos, mosquito repellants and head lice treatments. MosquitoXpress also utilizes a natural garlic spray alternative for sensitive areas. All products are approved by the EPA.

Yes & no. Our control products will control most all of the common lawn & landscape pests it contacts including fleas & ticks. We specifically target areas that harbor adult mosquitoes & their breeding sites. If your primary interest is Tick Control we have an IPM program designed specifically for you.
We sure can, keeping in mind that all of our services are for outdoor pest management. If you have a recreation or picnic area, campground or any other out-of-doors venue MosquitoXpress is your solution.
Yes, we employ garlic spray for those that might be sensitive to our standard control products and around ponds. Garlic spray is also effective in controlling mosquito larvae, which are suffocated when the spray coats the water’s surface, preventing oxygen from reaching the larvae. Our all-natural alternative must be re-applied every 14 days. Click here to learn more about our Natural Alternative program.
Costs vary by property size and control solutions selected. Contact us today for a free, no obligation price quote. Also make sure to inquire about any ongoing specials.
Neither MosquitoXpress nor any other service can provide 100% protection. Adults may travel from neighboring yards and bite before landing on treated plants or other harbor sites to absorb control products. Don’t worry, the nuisance of mosquitoes and ticks will be immensely reduced. And don’t forget, if at any time you are bothered by mosquitoes or ticks between regularly scheduled treatments, all you have to do is call. We will return and retreat at no additional cost.
For mosquito control we do not typically treat turf areas. Mosquitoes hate bright sunny areas and will not harbor on manicured lawns. Adult mosquitoes shelter on the bottom of leaves, under decks, alcoves and overhangs. They prefer shady, moist areas of your property and that is where we focus our control efforts. If your program includes flea or tick control we will spray the grass.
Our control products will control gnats, spiders and biting midges along with other outdoor pests if present during your application. They are however, not our target pests. We guarantee the control of mosquitoes & ticks. We do not guarantee the control of off target pests and do not offer free resprays for them.
